Apache1 Apache2 MySQL SSHD Lighttpd

 
Adding Apache2 Monitoring:


Step 1: Download config

cd /etc/monit/cfg/
wget http://www.securecentos.com/files/monit/apache2.cfg


Step 2: Edit config ( /etc/monit/cfg/apache2.cfg )

Make sure settings match your apache2 config.


Step 3: Restart monit

service monit restart


 


 
Adding System Monitoring:


Step 1: Download config

cd /etc/monit/cfg/
wget http://www.securecentos.com/files/monit/system.cfg


Step 2: Edit config ( /etc/monit/cfg/system.cfg )

Change the CHANGEHOSTNAME


Step 3: Restart monit

service monit restart


 

 
Adding MySQL Monitoring:


Step 1: Download config

cd /etc/monit/cfg/
wget http://www.securecentos.com/files/monit/mysqld.cfg


Step 2: Edit config ( /etc/monit/cfg/mysqld.cfg )

Check /etc/my.cnf and match settings there.


Step 3: Restart monit

service monit restart


 


 
Adding SSHD Monitoring:


Step 1: Download config

cd /etc/monit/cfg/
wget http://www.securecentos.com/files/monit/sshd.cfg


Step 2: Edit config ( /etc/monit/cfg/sshd.cfg )

Change Port from 22 to your current port if needed


Step 3: Restart monit

service monit restart
