You just need to check the directory on the sourceforge.. 

new wget’s: wget http://dfn.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforce/rkhunter/rkhunter-1.3.8.tar.gz 

and the sha1 file is now just sha1 instead of sha1.txt so: 

wget http://dfn.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/rkhunter/rkhunter-1.3.8.tar.gz.sha1

Remember to use protection!

rkhunter-1.3.6.tar.gz.sha1.txt

Contains:
7428cac298e820adac6dd9d1a7d005edbaf216b2 /tmp/rkhunter-1.3.6.tar.gz

hence this wont work, change it to

7428cac298e820adac6dd9d1a7d005edbaf216b2 rkhunter-1.3.6.tar.gz
